Hi, my name is Otto Kinzel and I’m contacting you from Bluntface Records, an independent label here in NH. I was interested in submitting music for our band Chemical Distance, an Electronic Rock/Trip-Hop group influenced by Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Jurassic 5, KMFDM and The Prodigy. I was wondering what your policies are; what format you require (physical CD, mp3’s etc.); and to whom I should send these materials ATTN of. Please let me know, and thank you for your time.

    G’Day from Australia,

I was wondering if you would play the music of an unsigned teenage power pop band from Sydney Australia. If so who should I forward the song to and is an MP3 an acceptable format?
    Thanks in advance.
    Rick

I find your “mix” quite refreshing, emphasis on “fresh.”

    Happy B-Day!

Does WREW have any interest in doing a radio show on local public interest stories? I’m a current grad student and I’m not a DJ, but I think Syracuse could interview a lot of interesting individuals on fascinating topics re: CNY urbanism, public art, events, and even national topics. Sound at all possible? If so, let me know and I’ll submit a DJ application.

Of course! No experience necessary. Our application process for Spring 2012 has officially closed, but please do apply if you are interested in being a part of WERW perhaps later in the semester, or even in the Fall! We will be announcing our Show Schedule soon, so keep an eye there for shows you may be interested in!
