Nothing But The Beat

Love house music? Capitol Records, in collaboration with UU Cinemas & Mass EDMC/NV Concepts, will be hosting a special screening of David Guetta’s Nothing But The Beat, on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 8pm in HBC Gifford.

Number one house DJ and double- Grammy Award Winning David Guetta has teamed up with Burn Energy Drink (from The Coca-Cola Company) to inspire eager fans with the new movie “Nothing But The Beat.” The documentary-style film follows David on the rise from underground DJ to worldwide sensation. By fusing house and electronic music with Hip-Hop and R&B, David was able to reach an epic amount of music lovers, catapulting him into superstardom. With commentary from Will.I.Am, Kelly Rowland, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Taio Cruz and dance music legends Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim, Laurent Garnier, David Morales and Pete Tong, this film brings a peek into the journey of making Nothing But The Beat while inspiring new audiences across the globe. So sit back, relax and let us introduce you to the innovative sounds, brought to you by the one and only, David Guetta.

The screening is free and open to everyone. Doors at 7:30 pm. Movie at 8 pm. There will be giveaways such as posters and wristbands. CDs, Vinyl, and two tickets to Guetta at the White Winter Tour on February 3rd at the OnCenter in Syracuse will be raffled off. Tickets are valued at ~$140.00 and are courtesy of Mass EDMC & NV Concepts!
