WERW’s Lost 2011 Recordings

January 11, 2012

Xaphoon Jones of Chiddy Bang

One of our first interviews of the year, dj_mikaela (along with Chris from Newhouse) interviewed Xaphoon Jones of Chiddy Bang, who opened Juice Jam 2011. By recording this interview live at Juice Jam, we also unknowingly bootlegged almost 10 minutes of Avicii’s set. SO LISTEN AND RELIVE THE MAGIC.

WERW Launch Party

Syracuse University artist live recordings? YES PLEASE! Check out live sets from Friend Killers, The Vanderbuilts and Sarah Aument!

Friend Killers

The Vanderbuilts

Sarah Aument (recording starts midway through the first song. Our apologies!)

The Analog Girl

Our Head Music Director Lou caught up with Singapore electronic act The Analog Girl on her first visit to Syracuse, before she performed as part of RojiMusic’s concert series on October 14, 2011.

We Barbarians

Dave from We Barbarians called in to Joe and Ian on Music to talk about the band, working with other musicians like Cold War Kids, moving to the Est Coast, and more. This interview took place before We Barbarians played Syracuse University with Andy Hull on Manchester Orchestra.
